Creating a Google Cloud Account

Create a Google Cloud account

Before you do anything, you’ll need a Google Cloud Console account and project. This step describes how to create a Google Cloud account. If you already have Cloud Identity or GSuite configured for your organization, you can skip to the next step (Step 2: Create a Google Cloud project).

If you choose to set up Cloud Identity, domain verification is required.

To create a Google Cloud account:

  1. Open Google Cloud Console in a browser.
  2. When prompted to sign in, create a new account by clicking Create account.
  3. Follow the instructions to register your corporate email address as a Google account.
  4. Continue to the Google Cloud Console and accept the Google Cloud terms presented.

After successfully registering for a trial account you will be entitled to $300 free credits that you can spend within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). However, I’d recommend taking the time now to set up billing by adding a valid credit/debit card.

To enable billing on a Cloud project:

  1. In the Cloud Console, go to the Billing page.
  2. Create a Cloud project titled “FB Pixel API” (there doesn’t have to be anything in the project, we just need it to set up this part of the process)
  3. From there you will be prompted to create a billing account and associate it with the selected Cloud project.

Adding HC as a user:

  1. From the Google Cloud Platform Console, find “IAM & Admin” in the sidebar, and click on “IAM.”
  2. From here, click “Add” to bring up the invite dialog.
  3. Enter the [email protected] email. Enable as an owner status.

From here webmaster will receive a verification email. Please let me know if you have any questions.
