ABIS Process Document


ABIS stands for Approved Business Information Sheet. ABIS is a business information sheet that contains important information that we need all throughout the optimization and most of all to be more accurate with all the listings. ABIS will be our reference in updating listings and even in creating web development.

ABIS is divided into different sections. Before the Creative Team will update/add data. The Account team will gather the important information first.

ABIS Sections:

  • Basic Information 
  • URL Information
  • Business Details
  • Location Features
  • Attributes
  • Keywords & Business Description
  • Image Assets

BASIC INFORMATION (Accounts)

All basic information will be filled out by the account team. The account team will be the one to communicate to the client and ask the necessary information needed.

URL INFORMATION (Accounts)

The account team will be the one to pull all the URL information for the ABIS. If there is a need to create an account for Yelp, or TripAdvisor it will be indicated. The accounts will get all URLs, create/claim and verify.

BUSINESS DETAILS (Accounts)

Business details are data or information that we need in updating the listing information of the client. This information will help us to streamline the marketing campaign or the development of the organization.

LOCATION FEATURES (Creative)

Not all client’s locations will have “Location Features” but most of the time we use this for restaurants. Location features will be used in creating category/services sections in the location page that has a specific button, ex: Menu.

KEYWORDS & BUSINESS DESCRIPTION (Creative)

In this section, it will be the creative team to do the keyword research and create descriptions using the keywords that we got from the keyword research.

Adding the Keywords

We need to choose 10 keywords and put them on the ABIS. 

  1. Go to the Keywords and SEO Copy sheet. 
  2. Click on the Keywords tab.
  3. Choose the top 10 keywords (Choose & Copy the best keywords)
  4. Paste it on the ABIS. 

 

IMAGE ASSETS (Creative)

It’s highly important for online businesses, SEO-friendly images are known to positively impact the overall user experience.

The main role of the alt text is to improve accessibility by allowing screen readers to read out what the image is about to visually impaired people. This is also very important for image SEO as it helps search engines understand the image’s context.

  1. Go to the client folder
  2. Click on Creative Assets
  3. Choose 10 images to be put on ABIS.
  4. Click on the images.
  5. Go to the vertical dots and click Share.

  7. Paste it on the ABIS.

Adding Caption (Creative)

In adding the caption, we want to use or inject the keywords in describing the images as much as possible. Caption or Alt Text helps to improve accessibility by allowing screen readers to read out what the image is all about visually impaired people. This is also very important for image SEO as it helps search engines understand the image’s context.

In creating the caption or Alt Text you may use the Keywords and SEO Copy sheet as your reference in injecting keywords or in creating caption or Alt Text.
